Can It Compete? Luxurious Ride, Comfortable Drive - Zeekr 7X Performance AWD
สู้เพื่อนได้...นั่งอย่างหรู ขับอย่างสบาย..Zeerk 7x Performance AWD แลกค่าตัว 1.799 ล้าน
The Zeekr 7X Performance AWD is a supremely comfortable family SUV that pampers rear passengers like no other in its class. It's brutally fast in a straight line but don't expect sports car handling — this is a cruiser, not a racer.
First Impressions
The Zeekr 7X Performance AWD hits you with presence the moment you walk up to it. Those orange brake calipers signal serious intent, and the electric doors on all four sides immediately set a premium tone. This is a car that wants to be your family's luxury shuttle first and a performance machine second — and after spending real time with it, I think it mostly succeeds.
Interior & Rear Cabin
The rear cabin is where this car truly shines. Legroom is approaching MPV territory, and the electrically reclining rear seats with extendable leg rests turn the back row into a first-class lounge. The rest mode is genuinely usable — recline the seat, set a timer, and you could actually nap in comfort.
The panoramic glass roof deserves special mention. I drove this thing in full Thai sun and felt zero heat coming through. The built-in film combined with the electric sunshade makes this the best heat-rejecting glass roof I've encountered. Electric side sunshades add to the luxury feel. My only gripe is that rear climate control temperature has to be adjusted from the front center screen — a baffling oversight for a three-zone system.
Tech & Features
The feature list is stacked. Wireless Apple CarPlay, dual wireless chargers, a full ADAS suite with adaptive cruise that works down to a complete stop, lane centering, automatic emergency braking — it's all here and it all works well. In heavy traffic, I engaged the adaptive cruise with lane centering and the system handled it confidently and smoothly. The 360-degree camera and auto-parking assist also performed reliably.
One tip: turn off the synthetic acceleration sound immediately. It's an annoying sci-fi whine that adds nothing. Mercifully, there's a toggle to silence it.
Driving Experience
This thing has absurd power. The dual-motor setup launches you forward with relentless force, and the acceleration is butter-smooth — no jerking, no drama, just instant thrust. In eco mode, it's perfectly adequate for daily driving and much easier to modulate.
The chassis tells a different story. In standard damping mode, the air suspension is too soft for anything above city speeds — there's noticeable float and body roll that will make rear passengers queasy during lane changes. Switching to sport damping firms things up considerably and is my recommended setting for highway use. Even then, the steering remains vague and light compared to true sport SUVs. This car was clearly tuned for comfort, not corner carving.
Noise insulation is exceptional though. Wind noise at highway speeds is virtually nonexistent, making this one of the quietest SUVs I've driven.
Suspension Setup Tips
After extensive testing, here's my recommendation: keep the damping in sport mode as your default, use eco drive mode for everyday situations, and set the steering to sport if you prefer some weight. This combination gives you a balanced, confident ride without the wallowy sensation of softer settings. Reserve the comfort damping mode strictly for low-speed city crawling where the pillowy ride actually feels pleasant rather than unsettling.
How It Compares
The obvious rival is the IM L6, which I'd pick in a heartbeat for sporty driving — its chassis is tighter, its steering sharper, and its sport mode actually feels sporty. But the 7X fights back with superior rear passenger comfort, better noise insulation, and a more luxurious overall ambience. They're targeting fundamentally different buyers despite similar specs on paper.
Final Verdict
The Zeekr 7X Performance AWD is a deeply impressive family luxury SUV that happens to have supercar acceleration. It pampers passengers, blocks out the world, and wraps everything in high-tech convenience. Just don't mistake it for a sports car — the soft chassis and vague steering remind you this was built for the school run, not the racetrack. For families who want to travel in comfort with bragging-rights speed on tap, it's an excellent choice.
