I was genuinely impressed by this thing — the punch from that dual-motor setup is real and will catch you off guard every single time. For 1.799 million baht you're getting a level of kit I've rarely seen on any car in this segment.

Driving Experience

Flooring it from 100 km/h still pins you to your seat — the torque hits immediately, no warm-up, no holding back. The steering is razor-sharp and precise, almost too sharp for relaxed cruising, but when you're pushing it the car goes exactly where you point it.

Pros

  • 646hp hits hard and immediately, no delay
  • Stargate LED front light show is genuinely cool
  • Four powered doors with sensors — opens wide, won't hit obstacles
  • Rear seats recline electrically, hidden drawers under them too
  • Panoramic roof is one of the largest in segment, with electric blind
  • 21-speaker sound system is legitimately great
  • Nappa leather and interior quality feels European premium
  • Air suspension lowers for easy loading
  • Rear passenger camera for monitoring child seats
  • Wireless charging at 50W for two phones simultaneously

Cons

  • Regen braking too aggressive even in standard mode — speed drops fast when you lift off
  • Suspension tuned soft, doesn't match the performance character
  • Continental EcoContact tires feel out of place on a 646hp car
  • Steering is overly sharp even in comfort mode — can't relax your hands
  • Top Performance trim gets most of the good stuff — base trim misses a lot
  • 21-inch tires and air suspension mean higher long-term maintenance costs
  • No rear climate zone control for back passengers

Value for Money

At 1.799 million baht you're getting options and performance that genuinely didn't exist at this price point before in Thailand. If you want the full Stargate lights, air suspension, and Akebono brakes, you have to go top trim — there's no shortcut.

Verdict

If you want the most loaded, most dramatic EV SUV under 2 million baht in Thailand right now, the Zeekr 7X Performance is hard to argue against. Just budget for a tire upgrade and go in knowing the suspension is comfort-biased despite the performance badge.

The Zeekr 7X Performance AWD is a premium family SUV that's fast, plush, and loaded with tech — but don't mistake it for a sports car. If you want comfort, rear-seat luxury, and smart driver assistance, this thing delivers in spades.

Driving Experience

It drives like a comfortable family hauler that happens to have monstrous power — smooth acceleration, decent highway composure, but the suspension in standard mode is too soft for anything spirited. Switch everything to sport mode and it tightens up nicely, though it still won't satisfy real driving enthusiasts.

Pros

  • Rear seat space rivals an MPV
  • Electric reclining rear seats with leg rests
  • All four doors are power-operated
  • Panoramic roof barely lets heat in
  • Electric side sunshades work brilliantly
  • Wireless charging at 50W with two slots
  • Full ADAS suite including adaptive cruise to stop
  • Wind noise isolation is among the best in class

Cons

  • Rear AC controls require going through the central screen
  • Suspension in comfort/standard mode feels too wallowy at speed
  • Steering lacks the precision needed for its power output
  • Synthetic engine sound is annoying — you'll want to turn it off
  • Rear passengers will feel body roll if driver pushes hard
  • Not tuned for spirited driving despite 637hp

Value for Money

At 1.799 million baht you get a tech-packed, luxurious cabin that outguns Honda CR-V on features and undercuts European alternatives on price. If family comfort and long-distance cruising matter most to you, the value proposition is hard to argue with.

Verdict

Buy this if you want a fast, luxurious family SUV that coddles rear passengers and looks premium — skip it if you want a hot SUV that rewards aggressive driving, because the IM6 still does that better.

I spent three days with the Zeekr 7X top trim and honestly came away impressed — it rides like a luxury car, hits hard when you need it, and the feature list punches well above its price. I was skeptical at first glance but after driving it I get it.

Driving Experience

The air suspension with CCD damping soaks up rough Bangkok roads effortlessly — it genuinely feels like a different world inside while traffic chaos happens outside. The AWD Performance punch is real, instant torque that makes your hair stand up every time you press the pedal.

Pros

  • Cabin isolation is exceptional, near silent inside
  • Air suspension handles rough roads with ease
  • Electric doors feel premium and genuinely useful
  • Acceleration is brutally fast when you want it
  • Interior materials are top-notch, soft-touch everywhere
  • Panoramic roof is massive with electric blind
  • 21-speaker Yamaha sound system
  • Ambient lighting with patterns is a nice touch

Cons

  • Mirror adjustment via screen roller is annoying
  • HUD can feel distracting and cluttered
  • Headrest speaker only on driver side, not rear
  • Design feels plain until you actually sit inside
  • Top trim price is a big jump from base models

Value for Money

At under 2 million baht, you're getting electric doors, air suspension, and a feature set that rivals cars costing 7-8 million — that's a real value proposition for you. The lower trims around 1.4-1.5 million are also worth considering if you don't need the air suspension.

Verdict

This car is built for someone who wants genuine comfort, effortless performance, and luxury-level features without paying luxury prices. If you want a plush, fast, tech-loaded daily driver, the Zeekr 7X top trim deserves a serious test drive.
