Walking up to the 2026 Zeekr X, the first thing I noticed is that it still looks compact and manageable — not trying to be bigger than it is. But then you hit the button and those electric front doors swing open, and suddenly this little crossover feels like it punches way above its weight class. Both trims get the electric doors, which is almost unheard of at this level. It immediately sets the tone: this car wants to impress you.
Design & Exterior
The exterior design is largely familiar if you know the outgoing Zeekr X. The dual-strip daytime running lights, sculpted hood lines, and that distinctive short-tail rear end are all present. The Flagship AWD rides on 245/45 R20 wheels with four-wheel disc brakes, and the body-colored cladding gives it a cleaner look than many crossovers in this segment.
The functional air channels that route from the front bumper through to the wheel arches are a nice aerodynamic touch. Around back, the swooping C-pillar and integrated spoiler give it a sporty silhouette. It's a good-looking car that manages to stand out without being obnoxious.

Here's where the Zeekr X genuinely surprised me. I'm 172 cm tall and I sat comfortably in the back seat — something I absolutely cannot say about the Volvo EX30, which shares the same platform. The EX30 felt cramped and claustrophobic by comparison. The Zeekr X gives you a proper armrest, ISOFIX points, Yamaha speakers in the rear doors, and a panoramic glass roof overhead.
The rear doors are still manual — only the fronts get the electric treatment — but the latch mechanism works fine. Cargo space is modest given the compact footprint, but there are hooks and a well-organized boot area.
