It's hard to argue with what you get for the money. More power, faster charging, massage seats — this is a genuinely better car at a lower price.

The 2026 Zeekr X comes in swinging with a seriously aggressive price cut that should shake up the B-segment EV market. The top Flagship trim especially impresses with electric doors, dual motors, and a premium interior that punches well above its price point.

Driving Experience

Haven't driven it yet — this was a walk-around preview at Motor Expo 2026.

Pros

  • Starting price is a big drop from before
  • Electric doors on the Flagship are a genuinely cool feature
  • Yamaha speakers come on every trim
  • AR Head-up Display on the Flagship
  • Dual-motor AWD option for the top trim
  • Interior materials feel premium, especially the suede-like finish
  • Touch Bar on the steering wheel is genuinely useful
  • Powered tailgate with anti-pinch on all trims

Cons

  • Rear doors are manual close even on the Flagship
  • Rear legroom feels a bit tight for taller passengers
  • Single-pane glass all around — not the most sound-insulating
  • Rear passengers can't control cabin temperature, only airflow direction
  • Massage seats only on the Flagship, not Standard

Value for Money

At 899,000 THB the Standard trim is hard to argue with in the B-segment EV space, and the Flagship at roughly 1,069,000 THB adds enough real features to justify the gap if you want the dual-motor performance and premium interior. You're getting a lot of car for the money versus the Volvo EX30 or BYD rivals in this segment.

Verdict

If you want a well-equipped compact EV at a sharp price, the 2026 Zeekr X is worth serious consideration — the Standard suits budget-conscious buyers while the Flagship is for those who want a genuinely premium and fast small EV.

The MY2026 Zeekr X is a genuinely better car at a lower price, and that's a rare thing. Power-assisted front doors, massage seats, more power, faster charging — it's hard to argue with what you get for the money.

Driving Experience

Haven't driven it yet, but with 489hp and AWD on tap, the numbers suggest it'll be plenty quick.

Pros

  • Price dropped 300,000 THB vs outgoing model
  • Both front doors now electrically operated
  • Front seats get massage function
  • Massive power bump on AWD flagship
  • DC fast charging up to 150kW
  • AC charging upgraded to 22kW
  • Rear seat more comfortable than Volvo EX30
  • Yamaha audio system standard

Cons

  • Rear doors still manual, no power assist
  • Infotainment screen not the smoothest
  • Electric doors add long-term maintenance risk
  • No frunk
  • Compact size limits practicality

Value for Money

At just over a million baht you get AWD, electric doors, massage seats, and 150kW fast charging — that's a lot of car for the price in Thailand right now. The entry Standard at 899k is even harder to ignore.

Verdict

If you want a premium-feeling compact EV in Thailand without stretching to two million baht, the Zeekr X MY2026 is one of the most compelling options on the market right now. Skip it only if you genuinely need a bigger car.
