This thing is a proper luxury electric SUV that finally makes sense as a Mercedes flagship — the rear seat space and ride comfort actually rival an S-Class. If you were disappointed by the EQS sedan's cramped back seat, this fixes that completely.
Driving Experience
The AIRMATIC air suspension absorbs rough roads and highway joints impressively well — I'd say it's genuinely close to S-Class levels of comfort despite riding on 22-inch wheels. It's not a performance monster but 360hp with 800Nm means it pulls hard enough for anything you'd actually need.
Pros
- Rear seat space is dramatically better than the EQS sedan
- AIRMATIC suspension rides like an S-Class on 22-inch wheels
- Hyperscreen is the most impressive in-car display you'll ever see
- Burmester Dolby Atmos sound system is genuinely jaw-dropping
- 658km WLTP range means zero range anxiety for Thai driving
- Rear-wheel steering makes parking a massive car much easier
- 10-year/250,000km battery warranty beats every luxury EV rival
- Only full-size 7-seat electric SUV in Thailand right now
Cons
- Row 3 seats are really only suitable for children or small adults
- AC charging at 11kW means a near-full charge takes around 11 hours
- 22-inch AMG multi-spoke wheels are a nightmare to keep clean
- Weighs a lot thanks to that massive 118kWh battery
- Price means you're close to Cayenne territory without the brand cache for some buyers
Value for Money
At just under 6 million baht you get something with no direct rivals — the only full-size luxury EV SUV in Thailand with a battery this big and features this complete. If you want a luxury electric family hauler with a three-pointed star, there's genuinely nothing else to compare it to right now.
Verdict
Buy this if you want a luxury EV that can carry the family in S-Class comfort without range anxiety — it's a much more convincing product than the EQS sedan ever was. Skip it only if you're purely after driving thrills or can't live with the size.

I was genuinely impressed by this thing — massive power, a suspension that stays planted through corners, and a cabin loaded with tech. The price is steep but the Mercedes badge, driving dynamics, and long range make a strong case.
Driving Experience
The air suspension is seriously good — firm and planted without being harsh, and it barely moves through fast lane changes or heavy corners. Steering feel in sport mode is sharper than any Chinese EV I've driven, with actual precision rather than just artificial weight.
Pros
- Suspension stays flat and planted at speed
- 800Nm torque delivers instant, effortless overtaking
- Four-wheel steering makes parking surprisingly easy for its size
- Triple-screen interior feels like an S-Class
- Rear seats have individual screens, 4-zone AC, and USB-C ports everywhere
- Long real-world range means charging stress is minimal
- Full safety suite included with no stingy option-gating
- CKD pricing makes ownership slightly more accessible
Cons
- Panoramic roof lets in serious heat even on cloudy days
- AC charging speed feels underwhelming for a battery this size
- Seat recline angle in the rear doesn't go back far enough
- Driver seat ergonomics didn't suit my body well
- No rear window blinds included
- Size makes urban parking genuinely awkward despite the turning radius
- Rear seat comfort is good but not ultra-luxury level
Value for Money
You're just under 6 million baht for a locally assembled Mercedes EV with genuine European driving dynamics — that's a real proposition compared to Chinese rivals that can't match the chassis quality. If you can stretch to it, the MyStar finance program with zero down and full maintenance coverage makes the monthly math more manageable.
Verdict
This is a big family EV that actually drives well, and that's rarer than it should be — I'd buy it over any Chinese rival at this price if ride quality and brand confidence matter to you. Wish the price would drop another 500k, but as it stands it's still a genuinely strong package.

This car is exceptional at one thing — luxury — and honestly not much else. If you want a sports-minded EV or intuitive tech, look elsewhere.
Driving Experience
It's whisper quiet, the suspension is pillowy soft, and it pulls hard in a straight line, but the moving brake pedal during regen is genuinely unsettling and never something I got used to. It's comfortable and fast, but not sporty in any meaningful way.
Pros
- Back seat comfort is genuinely first-class
- Burmester speakers are outstanding
- Rear-wheel steering makes it surprisingly nimble
- Door thunk feels tank-like and premium
- Phone-left-on-charger reminder is a clever little touch
- 10-degree rear steering helps in tight parking
- Acoustic isolation is exceptional
- Third-row option available if you need it
Cons
- Brake pedal physically moves during regen — genuinely unsettling
- All climate controls buried in touchscreen menus
- Accidentally hit hazard button multiple times with elbow
- No front trunk despite being a large EV
- You can't close the charging port from the screen
- Hyperscreen UI is deep, messy, and hard to navigate
- No physical climate control shortcuts anywhere
Value for Money
At this price you're paying for comfort and refinement, and it delivers hard on both — but if you want sporty dynamics or slick tech UX, rivals like the BMW iX might suit you better.
Verdict
Buy this if luxury and serenity are all you care about; skip it if you want engaging driving or a clean, intuitive interface.
