“The Atto 2 delivers solid practicality and strong features, but the design plays it safe. Get the price right and this could be genuinely competitive.”

Pros
- Rear seat space is surprisingly generous for the segment
- 360-degree camera on the top trim
- Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go on both trims
- Ventilated front seats included
- Fast DC charging at 82kW is a real-world win
- Dual-zone climate control
- Wireless charging up to 50W on the Premium trim
- Full LED lighting with auto high beam on both trims
Cons
- Design feels dated and family-plain, not exciting
- Base trim loses 360-degree camera and front sensors
- Base trim drops electric seat adjustment entirely
- Wireless charging disappears on the base trim
- Smaller infotainment screen on the base trim feels like a cost-cut too far
- Rear air vent is a single central outlet — passengers have to share
- Seat heating only on the passenger side, not the driver side — bizarre omission
- Step-in height is noticeably awkward

TH
The Atto 2 is a solid, practical family SUV that packs decent space and a strong feature list, but the design plays it safe rather than turning heads. If the price lands in the right spot, this thing could be genuinely competitive.
Driving Experience
Haven't driven it yet — this was a walkaround at the Motor Expo launch event.

Value for Money
If the Premium trim lands around 650–700k baht and the Dynamic trim comes in under that by 50–70k, you're getting a lot of EV for the money against Japanese hybrids in this segment. The base trim loses enough features that I'd stretch the budget for the top spec if I were you.
Verdict
The Atto 2 makes a strong case as a practical family EV if BYD prices it aggressively — but buyers who care about tech and feel should go straight for the Premium trim and skip the compromised base. Those chasing driving excitement should look elsewhere.
