Driving Experience

Haven't driven it yet. The air suspension on all four corners, 338 horsepower single motor, and 800V architecture all promise a refined and capable drive that I'm eager to test.

You get air suspension, massage seats, soft-close doors, electronic roof tinting, and a full driver assist package all as standard. Competitors in this segment often charge extra for features that come included here.

Verdict

The ES90 Ultra is a seriously compelling luxury EV that should worry established D-segment rivals. If the driving experience matches the impressive spec sheet and build quality, this could be a segment leader.

Driving Experience

The ES90 drives smooth and composed, with a plush air suspension that soaks up bumps beautifully but leans soft even in firm mode. Steering is pleasant and weighted but never sporty — this is a car that wants to cruise, not carve corners. Power delivery is instant and more than adequate despite the relaxed character.

You get an impressive package here — air suspension, 800V fast charging, Bowers & Wilkins audio, digital key, and a full driver assistance suite all as standard. Against the BMW i5 in this segment, it offers a distinctly different but equally compelling proposition with superior rear-seat comfort.

Verdict

If you want a plush, quiet executive sedan for being chauffeured or cruising comfortably, the ES90 is one of the best in its class. If you crave sporty handling and driver engagement, look elsewhere — this is unashamedly a comfort-first machine.
