At 2.99 million baht, the ES90 Ultra genuinely surprised me — this thing packs serious luxury and tech at a price that undercuts where I expected Volvo to land. I haven't driven it yet, but walking around it I was genuinely impressed and honestly couldn't wait to get behind the wheel.
Driving Experience
Haven't driven it yet — seat time is scheduled for mid-January, but just sitting in the driver's seat had me wanting to leave immediately.
Pros
- Priced under 3 million baht — genuinely shocking
- 800V architecture with 350kW DC fast charging
- Air suspension on all four corners as standard
- 360-degree cameras included
- Rear seats get powered electric adjustment
- Leg rest extender on driver's seat for long drives
- Electronically adjustable panoramic roof tinting
- Soft-close doors standard — BMW i5 doesn't even offer this
- Massive, genuinely spacious cabin — more comfortable than the i5
Cons
- Single motor only — no AWD option at this trim
- Rear side windows feel a bit small and cramped-looking
- No storage pocket on rear door panels

This is a rear-seat car pretending to be a driver's car — and honestly, it's better at the passenger role. Comfort is genuinely class-leading back there, but it's not for anyone who wants to feel connected to the road.
Driving Experience
The steering in firm mode has a nice weighted feel without being sporty — think confident cruise, not canyon carving. Power delivery is effortless and honestly shocking for a car tuned this soft, but the air suspension setup prioritizes float over feedback.
