Haven't driven it yet — suspension tuning and real-world feel are still unknowns for me.

Pros

• Flat rear floor makes rear seat actually usable

• 10.1-inch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on both trims
• Built-in sporty styling with no aftermarket needed

Cons

• No 360-degree camera on either trim — just a single rear camera
• Rear passengers get no dedicated air vents
• Rear window auto-down only, no one-touch up
• No panoramic sunroof on any variant
• Base trim loses wireless charging, electric seat, and most ADAS features
• Real-world range on the base 300km trim is likely closer to 200km
• Rear seats fold flat as one piece only, not 60/40

Value for Money

If the pricing comes in competitively, you're getting a lot of car for a first EV purchase — the top Premium trim with the bigger battery and full ADAS suite is the one worth stretching for. The base Dynamic saves money but cuts too many corners on safety tech.

Verdict

This is the EV for urban drivers who want something easy to park, good-looking, and backed by BYD's reliability — especially women doing school runs or city commutes. Skip it if you need rear-seat comfort for adults on long trips regularly.

Driving Experience

I only got a brief taste doing a U-turn in a tight space, and the steering weight felt decent with good response. Power felt adequate for a city car but I need proper road time to give a real verdict.

• Base Dynamic trim strips out nearly all safety tech
• Rear armrest absent due to fixed bench design

Value for Money

If you want the top trim with adaptive cruise and ADAS features, you're looking at mid-400k which puts it in direct EX2 territory — and the EX2 has more kit. The base trim under 400k is tempting on price but feels stripped bare.

Verdict

Buy this if you want the sharpest-looking city EV on the market and can live without a camera surround system. Skip it if features-per-baht matters more to you than kerb appeal.
